If you want to make the most of your next dental checkup at Auburn Family Dental, there are a few questions you can ask to help you learn more about your dental health. Here at our office, patient education is one of our top priorities. The more education you have about your oral health, the better you’ll be able to care for your teeth.

3 Questions to Ask Your Dentist

Below are three questions to ask Dr. Behnaz Raisdana to maximize your next appointment at our office:

  1. How is my overall oral health?

This question can help you learn what you’re excelling at and what you might need to be working on. This is also a way for you to gain insight into any other areas of your health that may be contributing to or harming your dental health.

  1. What can I do to improve my dental health?

Ask this question and pay close attention to the recommendations your dentist gives you. Your dentist can also let you know if you’re brushing correctly, using the right kind of toothpaste and floss, or if you need to include any other dental treatments into your daily routine.

  1. Is there anything my family doctor should know about?

Lastly, your oral health is closely linked to your overall health. Your dentist can be the first one to spot the signs of certain non-dental medical issues you may be suffering from. Asking this question will allow you to make sure that all of your medical professionals have the correct information.

Please let us know if you’re experiencing any dental problems or if you’ve noticed something unusual about your teeth or gums. It may be a symptom of something bigger going on! To make an appointment at Auburn Family Dental, please contact our Wichita, KS dental office today.
