Dentures are removable replacements for missing teeth and gums. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing and partial dentures are used when some of your natural teeth are still intact.
Removable partial dentures are a set of replacement teeth attached to gum-colored bases. Depending on the type of denture you receive, it may have a metal framework and clips that connect to your natural teeth or it may have precision attachments, which are usually a little less obvious than the clips. Dr. Behnaz Raisdana can help you decide which type is best for your particular situation!
It’s important to remember that new dentures may feel a little loose or strange for the first couple of weeks. But the muscles in your tongue and cheeks will eventually learn to keep your dentures in place and you will get more comfortable putting them in and removing them.
